A Year Of Living Sustainably
LILYSILK’s Zero Waste Report 2025
What we create—and how we create it—has never mattered more. At LILYSILK, sustainability is not a separate initiative, but a continuous process behind every piece we make. In 2025, we further advanced our Zero Waste Movement, rethinking how products are produced, how materials are used, and how garments can live beyond their first lifecycle.
Built around three core pillars—Zero Inventory, Zero Waste, and Zero Scraps—this approach reflects our ongoing effort to reduce environmental impact while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship that define us.
Zero Inventory
Our Zero Inventory model eliminates overproduction by producing each garment only after an order is placed. Every piece is made within 48 hours and delivered in 2–3 business days. This is made possible through a fully digital system where ERP integration connects directly with automated cutting machines and barcode-based production tracking, ensuring precision while minimizing excess stock.
ZERO WASTE
On average, about 25% of fabric is lost during traditional garment production. To address this, we repurpose surplus materials into new products such as pillowcases, scrunchies, and eye masks. In 2025, we recycled and reused 660 kg of fabric, transforming it into over 65,000 upcycled items. This ongoing initiative helps us continuously improve material efficiency and reduce textile waste at scale.
Zero Scraps
Through our partnership with TerraCycle®, we enable customers to return used garments for recycling and reuse. In 2025, we collected 263 pounds of LILYSILK fabric. Since the program launched in 2022, a total of 2,868 items and 1,691 pounds of fabric have been recycled, with continued expansion planned in the coming years.
More Eco-Approach
Our sustainability approach is grounded in long-term, measurable improvements across materials, sourcing, and packaging. We are certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class II, GOTS, The Good Cashmere Standard®, and the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), ensuring high environmental and ethical standards throughout our supply chain.
In packaging, 99% of outer materials are now degradable, with a goal of reaching 100% by 2026. We prioritize FSC-certified materials, reusable packaging design, and biodegradable plastics to reduce long-term environmental impact.
At LILYSILK, sustainability is embedded in how we create, not added on top of it. We continue to innovate toward a future where quality, responsibility, and beauty exist in balance.
