How does your design philosophy influence your choice of clothing?
It goes hand in hand. I want my clothes to be in good quality with a timeless design that will last for years and hopefully be beautiful vintage pieces my daughter would want to inherit one day.
What are the key elements or themes that inspire your jewelry collections?
I’m always inspired by elegant women who dress themselves with confidence. I’m also very inspired by nature which reflects my company name Libelula that is the Spanish name for dragonfly. I feel very grounded when we spend the weekends at our place in the mountains and this is also the place where I come up with new ideas for my jewellery design.
Can you tell us about a specific piece from your collection that holds a special place in your heart?
I think the mother and child collection in 18k gold with diamonds is amazing. As a mother of four, I'm constantly thinking about my children and I love to wear symbols of them. These necklaces are custommade for each client with their child’s names or nicknames.
What does sustainable fashion mean to you?
Sustainable fashion for me means quality and timeless design. I only produce jewellery in solid gold and natural stones. Pieces that can be passed on to the next generation.
What does living spectacularly mean to you？
To make the most of everything! Dress well, take care of your health, show affection and love to the people close to you, make beautiful tables, spend a lot of time in the kitchen and pay attention to the small and beautiful details in life. Allow yourself to feel beautiful.
