Rosie Fawehimi is a model, content creator and mother of two. She found the lump in the shower, a week before her daughter’s first birthday. It felt different, but she never imagined it could be breast cancer. At 35, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, and her life suddenly reorganized around one small discovery. “I was shocked, scared and so worried about what my future looked like,” she recalls. “I just worried about not being here to watch my children grow up.”
What she carries from that moment isn’t simply a story of battle. It’s a story of listening — to her body, to what it was quietly telling her, and to what really mattered once the noise fell away.
Before her diagnosis, everyday worries could easily feel important. But when health is suddenly at stake, perspective changes. “Health is all that matters,” Rosie reflects. “When your health is on the line, you realise none of those things matter.”
